Dear Gulfview Owners:

Cooling Towers
The new Crane came in 11 hours late, but they worked through Wednesday night putting it all together.  We had the (2) damaged Cooling Towers down in the parking lot by about 10 am, and they were removed from our property today.

Commex Painting and Restoration has been chipping away at the damaged support columns preparing them for restoration.  They will be built out 8 inches all around. It will take about 5 or 6 days for the new concrete columns to cure before the new platform and Towers are placed on top.

Our staff has gone to each condominium and turning off the AC units to prevent any issues when the Towers come back on. We will go back to each one and turn them on when the new Towers are turned on. We are being told the air will still be back on around the 28th.

They are progressing slowly from West to East along the roof.  Today the City of Marco Asked Veteranís Roofing to stop laying anymore down until the next inspection that may take place either Monday or Tuesday. The installers should be up to the midway point by Wednesday, depending on a timely inspection and the weather.

  • The roofers are also chipping concrete and removing the old roof drains while All H2O replaces them. So far they have replaced 4 out of 8 roof drains.
  • Our lightning protection installers begin work Monday.
  • Veterans installers are also rebuilding 26 stands that our roof fans rest on.  These fans will be replaced after the new Cooling Towers are in.
